Known among international ski mountaineers for having the driest and lightest snow on planet Earth (density 60–80 kg/m³). Season opens as early as mid-November with guaranteed deep powder across untouched Siberian cedar forests.

Course Curriculum

1. Powder Biomechanics

Mastering dynamic weight distribution, speed control in waist-deep snow, unweighting techniques, and preventing back-leg fatigue.

2. Taiga Tree-Skiing Tactics

Rhythm and micro-terrain reading through dense Siberian forest, avoidance of tree wells, creek crossings, and boulder fields.

3. Avalanche Rescue & Safety

Practical beacon (transceiver) search drills, probe pinpointing, shoveling efficiency, and snowpack pit stability tests.

4. Backcountry Logistics

Radio communication protocol, navigation without cellular network, cold weather gear maintenance (down to -25°C), and first aid.
